Austria-based KTM is offering motorcyclists a Web site to help them learn more about the ins and outs of adventure riding. It can be found at www.KTM.com.
Designed to offer relevant and useful travel information, the new Web pages highlight preparation and organization, information about countries and their inhabitants, route suggestions, tips for along the way, travel medicine, a detailed spare parts list and more.
Thomas Junker, globetrotter, filmmaker and KTM 950 Adventure rider, created the new travel pages, which are supplemented by reports by KTM riders for KTM riders; rally pros Sala, Roma and Despres giving riding tips; and KTM Rally medicine man Ralph Pariasek offering views on medical kits, necessary inoculations, and other tactics to keep travelers healthy.
In other KTM news, KTM North America says any rider that enters the 2004 AMA Supermoto Championship series on a 2003 or newer model KTM is eligible for contingency prize money, which this year totals more than $200,000.
