Auction Houses Merge
National Powersport Auctions (NPA), a leading motorcycle, ATV and personal watercraft wholesale auction house, has announced a strategic merger with Dallas-based Vehicles In Motion Auction Corporation.
NPA moves approximately 1,000 vehicles per auction. Effective immediately, the merger will offer NPA further reach nationally, said NPA Sales & Marketing Vice President Justyn Amstutz.
Offering wholesale buyers the opportunity to participate in monthly live and online auctions, NPA facilities currently are located in San Diego, Dallas, Atlanta and Columbus, Ohio.
Strategic partnerships with Yamaha Motor Corporation, Harley-Davidson Financial Services and American Honda Finance, as well as ties to institutional lenders such as Household Finance, GE Retail Sales and Sheffield Financial, further bolster NPA’s service offerings.
NPA was founded in Poway, Calif.,in 1989 by a group of San Diego motorcycle dealership principals seeking to reduce their own used motorcycle inventory. The firm is led by CEO Cliff Clifford.
