Proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the Joe C. Parkhurst Education Fund and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The Joe C. Parkhurst Education Fund was created to honor the memory of Cycle World founder Joe C. Parkhurst – who had a strong passion for the quest for knowledge – and is the main source of funding for 24 Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation college scholarships for brain tumor survivors. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is the largest source of non-governmental funding for pediatric brain tumor research in the world.
