Feb. 13, 2006 – Polaris announces its Limited Edition ATVs

Polaris Industries has created 10 limited edition ATVs for 2006 in wake of feedback from consumers, dealers, its training team and internal staff.
“Our Limited Edition models are unique, value-packed options for ATV enthusiasts who demand the best,” said Mike Dougherty, general manager for the ATV division at Polaris. “Whether the consumer is an avid outdoorsman or casual recreational rider, a Polaris LE ATV will meet their needs.”
The 2006 Sportsman 500 EFI Red Flame-EFI power includes a sunset red and silver paint job, flame graphics and cast aluminum rims. The MSRP is $7,399. The machines will be available in U.S. and Canadian dealerships in March.
The 2006 Camo Hawkeye 300 4×4 includes black rims, a black bumper guard and Mossy Oak “Break Up” pattern.
The MSRP is $5,049 and will be in dealerships in April.
Four 2006 Sportsman Browning Hunter Editions, in 450, 500, H.O. EFI, 700 Twin EFI and 800 Twin EFI models, will be available in dealerships in July. The machines include Mossy Oak “Break Up” pattern, camouflaged rims, hand and thumb warmers, rear rack extenders, Garmin GPS with mounting bracket and DC plug, a gun scabbard with Lock & Ride gun mount and a 2,500-pound winch. MSRPs for the Sportsman line range from $7,799 for the Sportsman 450 to $9,999 for the Sportsman 800 Twin EFI.
Polaris is re-releasing the 2006 Silver & Black 800 EFI. The newer version will have two-tone turbo silver and black paints and new graphics. The MSRP is $8,899.
The company also is re-releasing the 2006 Predator 500 Cross Country. The machine, with an MSRP of $6,899, includes two-tone black and silver body work, race-inspired graphics with a cut-and-sewn seat, an aluminum performance exhaust silencer, MaxxisR Razr 2 tires, aluminum front and rear grab bars, close-ratio transmission and aluminum Podium X FoxR shocks.
The 2006 Predator 90 Cross Country for children also has been re-released. It includes black and silver body work, a black and silver cut-and-sewn seat, race-inspired graphics, a racing-style front bumper and a youth helmet with aggressively-styled graphics. The MSRP is $2,499.
A re-release of the 2006 Phoenix Limited Edition is available in dealerships and has black and silver body work, a black and silver cut-and-sewn seat, aggressively-styled new graphics and polished aluminum Douglas rims. The MSRP is $3,399. psb
