Dealers fielding questions about the availability of pink helmets and apparel now have answers, many of them.
Nearly every major powersports apparel manufacturer appeared to offer gear for women at the 2006 Dealer Expo.
Off-road riding gear for women could be found at Fly Racing, Fox Racing, Moose Racing, Sick Racing and Thor MX.
For road riders, Firstgear’s sporty contoured mesh jacket is available in six colors, including baby blue, pink and tomato red. Tucker Rocky’s River Road line featured the Babe Jacket, a contoured leather jacket for cruiser riders.
Parts Unlimited showed a number of women’s apparel pieces sold under its Icon brand; Fairchild Sports’ G Line by Hein Gericke includes a half-dozen jacket and pant combinations; Tour Master showed a pair of jackets; Teknic showcased the Ladies’ Supervent Jacket; Coldwave had snow jackets for women; Lady Rider displayed a number of products; and Motonation showed the Spidi PSK Lady, a sport-style jacket with CE-approved armor, and Ladies Lizard Pro race suit. psb
