Sea-Doo gives its BEST in incentives
Sea-Doo is offering some boat show season incentives, including the B.E.S.T. deal: up to two free years of a BRP-extended service terms warranty.
Customers who purchase a new 2007 Sea-Doo watercraft by April 30 are eligible to receive one year of the B.E.S.T. warranty in addition to the company’s standard one-year deal.
New 2007 Sport Boat buyers also will receive one year of B.E.S.T. on top of the standard two-year commitment. More details can be found on the company’s Web site, www.seadoo.com.
Havasu PWC Park On The Horizon?
Lake Havasu’s City Council has been presented with a proposal to designate a PWC Race and Safety Training Site.
The site is intended to be enjoyed by all personal watercraft enthusiasts. The proposal calls for two permanent courses on the water, one a “world finals-type” race track and the other a water safety training area.
It also calls for about 100-125 acres of land, in addition to the water access, for parking. RV hook-ups are planned, as are washrooms and showers. Additional amenities could include a pool, playground, launch ramps and a 2,500-seat, stadium-style grandstand. Other hoped-for additions would be nighttime lighting, television and announcing towers, PWC storage units, even a restaurant and clubhouse. No word yet on the council’s reaction, but hey, you gotta have a dream.
