VP Racing bolsters tech support
VP Racing Fuels Inc. has created a technical director position.
“The primary role of this new position will be to oversee the introduction and support of our new and existing technology in the marketplace,” said Steve Burns, VP president and CEO. “This will be achieved via hands-on applications testing of new technology and maintenance of a database of technical product information.
Jay Fransworth, previously VP’s Midwest regional manager, was named to the new technical director position. Farnsworth has been actively involved in VP’s R&D efforts for many years, with both VP’s racing fuels and traction adhesives.
Farnsworth said VP encourages customers who require technical support to direct questions to the company’s technical support line, which he says the company intends to staff from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
