As Custom Chrome continues toward its goal of regaining its position as an aftermarket leader, personnel are playing a key role.
The company has asked Ed Martin, a Custom Chrome veteran, to lead the newly established Custom Chrome Asia Pacific business unit and focus on emerging markets. Martin has more than 35 years experience in the V-Twin industry, including time as president of Custom Chrome’s Chrome Specialties division.
In another personnel move, Custom Chrome has tapped Peter Amenda to fill the newly created vice president of category management position. Amenda has worked in brand management, product and channel marketing, lean manufacturing and product line strategy development at Harley-Davidson, General Motors and other companies.
In addition to promoting Martin and hiring Amenda, Custom Chrome hired Walter Clark, who will be an outside sales manger for the West Coast and added three new outside sales representatives.
