Honda expands its U.S. dealer network support

American Honda Motorcycle Division is expanding its dealer network support. The added staff brings Honda’s combined sales, service and powerhouse field to 82 associates, according to a company press release.

Chuck Boderman, assistant vice president of motorcycle sales, says starting this month, the company will be adding field representatives and increasing its dealer training organization.

Associates include:

  • Dan Wright, senior manager national field sales, will lead an expansion of the field sales organization with the addition of six district sales managers to strengthen direct dealer network contact and support.
  • Jack Gray, senior manager of powerhouse business development, will combine the resources of the powerhouse support and field departments to create the new role of powerhouse business manager. This new position will prepare for future expansion of Honda’s dealer development program.
  • Robert Clever, senior manager will head a new department that will combine dealer service, sales and management training to make training development more efficient. Six associates will be added to this department to accelerate development of Honda’s in University dealer training materials.
