American Honda announced motorcyclists now will have access to roadside assistance protection, according to a Honda press release.
Soon Honda dealerships will offer HondaCare Roadside Assistance through Honda’s protection plans and its extended service contract. HondaCare is for on-road motorcycles and scooters and comes with various options.
Riders get a choice of towing to the nearest Honda dealer, regardless of distance, or to any Honda dealer or the customer’s residence within 30 miles. The protection also comes with multi-year coverage at discounted rates, and it covers any person riding the motorcycle with the owner’s consent.
The roadside assistance covers the United States, Canada and Mexico through the services of more than 45,000 providers. It can be purchased with HondaCare Protection or alone. One year of roadside assistance purchased with one year of HondaCare Protection will provide two years of roadside assistance.
