UTI, Wells Fargo establish scholarship fund
The Universal Technical Institute Foundation will establish the Wells Fargo Technical Scholarship Fund thanks to a $75,000 grant from the California-based bank, according to a Wells Fargo press release.
The grant will support 25 scholarships for students who are seeking degrees at Universal Technical Institute Inc., and can be used for any of the school’s career programs: professional automotive, collision repair, diesel, marine and motorcycle technicians.
“Wells Fargo believes every child and adult has the right to receive a quality education, and we are committed to supporting education and job-training opportunities in our communities,” said Pam Conboy, regional president for Wells Fargo Arizona.
