Sportech Inc., a thermoplastic manufacturer, moved into its new 90,000-square-foot facility in Elk River, Minn. The move marks the company’s 10-year anniversary when it started in a 10,000-square-foot facility and three employees, reported Sportech.
The new facility is expected to increase the company’s manufacturing capacity and operational efficiency due to more space, improved workflow, expanded storage and improved communication between departments.
President Chris Carlson says Sportech’s employees are passionate about the industries in which the company is involved.
“That means we have a deep understanding of what the end customer is looking for,” he said in the release. “We take that to heart when working with a manufacturer as we design and innovate new products. That’s one of the biggest reasons we continue to excel in this market.”
