New contest will reward dealers for bold business initiatives

Powersports Business is launching an effort to improve dealership business practices with its new “Bold Ideas Contest.”

The contest will recognize powersports dealers from around the nation who have tackled the current economic challenges with a new or revitalized business initiative. These initiatives will be examined by Powersports Business editors and possibly an expert industry panel to determine the best “bold ideas” of 2008. Recognized dealers and their ideas will be featured in a future edition of Powersports Business.

At least 10 OEMs are supporting this contest by helping Powersports Business distribute the entry form. Those OEMs include Suzuki, Honda, BRP, KTM, Triumph, Artic Cat, Victory, Ducati and KYMCO.

Entry forms also will be available at Powersportsbusiness.com.
