Arctic Cat lays off 7 percent of its work force

Arctic Cat will cut about 100 jobs of its total 1,400 employees. The company made the cuts to align its cost structure with industry-wide conditions.

Company CEO Christopher Twomey stated, “We are rescaling the business to lower production capacity and operating costs, bringing them in line with reduced consumer demand. We regret having to take this action and want to thank affected employees for their dedicated efforts.”
