At HSBC, Marlin led the Rev Charger XL consumer finance program, utilized by thousands of powersports dealerships nationwide, and also developed, launched and managed the American IronHorse and United Motors private-label consumer finance programs.

“We are pleased to add a faculty member with the industry experience and finance knowledge that John offers,” Peter Jones, founder of Powersport University, said in the press release. “We are committed to providing our members with access to the best minds in the powersport industry. John’s knowledge of consumer lending and floor planning will help our members stay current with the radical changes we have seen in lending and also help us deliver new finance sources as they become available.”
