American Honda Announces the Release of Four More 2010 Models

American Honda Motor Company’s Powersports Division announced this week its third release of 2010 models. This on-road motorcycle release follows the earlier announcements of Honda’s 2010 Fury, scooters, dirt bikes and ATVs.

The models include the Shadow Phantom; a cruiser that is influenced by “bobber” styling and features a blackout look to go along with the 745cc V-Twin engine. The NT700V; a touring model that Honda claims is the only “true lightweight touring bike on the market,” powered by a 680cc V-Twin.

On the sport side of things, Honda announced the release of the 2010 CBR1000RR and the CBR600RR. “The CBRs continue to set the standards of performance for the full-on sporting genre. This sets the stage for a great year in 2010 and there will be additional street model announcements later this fall,” said Honda Powersports Press Manager Bill Savino.

“We are very excited about announcing these four street bikes for 2010,” Savino added. “Within this mix we have a new cruiser, a new lightweight touring bike and two CBR sport bikes. The cruiser offers a whole new look for Honda. Our new touring bike delivers light weight, nimble handling, a stylish fairing plus saddlebags for the long haul or daily commute.”
