Kawasaki unveils 2010 line
Kawasaki has unveiled its 2010 lineup, and the six boats named — the Ultra 260LX, Ultra 260X, Ultra LX, STX-15F, STX and 800 SX-R — are identical to that found in the brand’s ’09 line. The typical graphic and color options have taken place, with notable changes being a classy metallic titanium now gracing the entry-minded STX-15F and a bold new black-and-lime look for the 800 standup.
While the line may be no big surprise, Kawasaki’s pricing definitely made news. Pricing has increased across the board, with the flagship Ultra 260 and 260 LX now going for $12,899 and $13,199 respectively, the LX retailing for $10,699, and the STX-15F and STX coming in at $8,999 and $8,499. The 800 SX-R also makes the jump, up $600 to $7,299.
IJSBA World Finals
The International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA)?recently concluded the 28th annual IJSBA World Finals, presented by Monster Energy, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. The event featured competitors from 36 different countries, and featured nearly 650 entries in 41 closed-course classes, four slalom disciplines, and the always-popular Amateur and Pro Freestyle.
