National dealer network expands again

America’s PowerSports (APS), a national powersports dealer network of 17 locations, acquired a Harley-Davidson dealership in Mason, Ohio, in Deerfield Township. The dealership, which has been named Powder Keg Harley-Davidson, opened today.

Jim Bower, chairman and CEO of APS, said in a company press release, “Through this acquisition, APS has expanded its presence into the Cincinnati metropolitan area. We view this market as a great motorcycle community with a very attractive retail opportunity and believe that we will quickly become the premier Harley-Davidson dealership in the tri-state area.”

This is the third Harley-Davidson dealership to join the APS network. APS is headquartered in Allen, Texas, and is owned primarily by funds managed by Wind Point Partners and River Cities Capital.

“We are exited to be here,” Angela Murray, general manager and managing partner, said in the release. She was previously a sales manager at Fort Thunder Harley-Davidson in Moore, Okla. “The motorcycle community and local businesses have welcomed us with open arms. Our team at Powder Keg Harley-Davidson looks forward to serving the needs of Harley-Davidson riders and enthusiasts in Southwestern Ohio, Indiana, Northern Kentucky and beyond.”
