About 1,300 snowmobiles recalled

Arctic Cat voluntarily conducted a snowmobile recall in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commision (CPSC) because of a fire hazard.

All model year 2010 Arctic Cat 500 Sno Pro models, about 1,300, were recalled because fuel can leak from the fuel pump at the fuel tank mounting screws, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

The manufacturer has received two reports of fuel leakage at the fuel pump mounting screws, but no injuries have been reported.

The snowmobiles were sold at Arctic Cat dealerships nationwide from October 2009-February for $7,800-$8,200.

The model name and number are displayed on the side of the seat and on the engine cowling.
