Yamaha PWC launches mobile trivia campaign

Yamaha Watercraft Group, a division of Yamaha Motor Corp. USA, launched a mobile trivia campaign to its customers for a chance to win various prizes, including a trip for two to Yamaha’s 2011 WaterCraft Product Premiere in August, announced the company in a press release.

Users can answer questions on their phone about Yamaha’s products for a chance to win weekly prizes and/or the grand prize. The grand prize winner will be one of the first to test ride and experience the new 2011 Yamaha WaveRunners and boats for the coming year.

To play, users can text the word TRIVIA to 30907, and they’ll be sent back a text message with a multiple choice question about Yamaha’s WaveRunners or boats. The answers can be found by researching boat and WaveRunner product information available on Yamaha’s Web site, www.yamaha-motor.com. Then, they text back the correct answer and will be entered to win one of the weekly prizes. Participants can play once a week throughout the campaign to win the weekly prizes, and they will be entered to win the grand prize trip for two.

The mobile trivia campaign runs May 17-July 25.
