Motovan has become the exclusive distributor for Scorpion helmets in Canada, according to a Scorpion Sports press release.
Scorpion Sports said this move should help expand the brand’s reach significantly as dealers will receive quicker product deliveries and more added-value benefits.
?Scorpion USA President Rick Miller said in a press release, “We think this strategic alliance will no doubt broaden the distribution of Scorpion products in Canada and get the brand more exposure worldwide.”
Miller noted the Scorpion ExoWear line will continue to be exclusively available from Scorpion Sports USA.
Motovan is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, and has a Western distribution center in Vancouver B.C., allowing it to service dealers across Canada.
Miller noted the helmets carried by Motovan will be the same as what is currently shipped to Canadian dealers from the United States now.
U.S. dealers will continue to be serviced by Scorpion’s network of independent sales reps. In fact, Miller said most of Scorpion Sports’ personnel from Canada will be reassigned to the U.S. East Coast as the company is ramping up that operation and needs the increased personnel.
