Auction provider expands powersports sites

Auction provider ADESA has expanded its number of powersports auctions through a recent acquisition.

The company acquired The Premier Auction Group’s (PAG) Specialty Auction, Great Lakes RV/Marine/Powersports Auction, in Bay City, Mich., along with six PAG used vehicle auctions selling specialty units, including the PAG Las Vegas Specialty Auction that opened just more than a year ago.

To strengthen this transition at the Great Lakes Auction location, General Manager Matt Zientak will continue on with ADESA Great Lakes.

“I look forwarding to joining the ADESA team and continuing to offer the highest level of service possible to current and new customers alike,” Zientak said in a press release. “Four years ago PAG made a commitment to be a force in the RV/marine/powersports remarketing world. Over those years we went from selling a couple hands full of units a month to two massive specialty auctions (now ADESA Great Lakes (AGL) and ADESA Las Vegas (ALV)) along with our sister PAG auctions selling specialty units.”

The other locations involved in the acquisition include Clare, Mich.; Fall Branch, Tenn.; Montpelier, Ohio; North Las Vegas and Lomira, Wis.
