Polaris completes acquisition of GEM

Polaris Industries Inc. announced that it has closed the previously announced acquisition of Global Electric Motorcars (GEM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chrysler Group LLC and manufacturer of electric vehicles.

Polaris bought GEM from Chrysler in April. Polaris plans to move the GEM manufacturing operation to its plant in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
