Business owner to learn how to expand profits

His racing career took him to the Isle of Man course back in the day and he competed in eight motorcycle races in seven days. But for three days in September, Rich Fern plans to step away from the speedway action to get educated about how to make his business more profitable at Profit Xcelerator, Powersports Business’ Conference & Expo. The event features powersports industry leaders offering expert tips, strategies and best practices on the biggest challenges facing dealers today.
These days, Fern, a native of Sacramento, Calif., volunteers his services as treasurer of the American Motorcyclist Association’s District 36. As a motorcycle parts business owner, Fern is simply everywhere on the Northern California motorcycle circuit. From enduro to cross-country to dirt track to motocross, Fern’s second home is at Northern California tracks. But with a wealth of exhibitors on site at the expo, and business knowledge ready to be shared at ProfitX seminars, it’s the only place he wants to be.
