2009 H-D Street Glide brings 135% of NADA value

Data in the January 2011 Motorcycle Market Report from Manheim Specialty Auctions shows that a 2009 Harley-Davidson Street Glide, in average condition with 13,846 miles on it, sold at auction in Canada for $16,300, achieving 135 percent of its Clean Trade-In/Wholesale NADA value. The Harley-Davidson Electra Glide took three of the top 11 spots, with model-years 1991, 2004 and 2010 among the top performers.

Other top performers compared to NADA Guides value at Manheim Specialty Auctions in January are as follows:

• 2011 Harley-Davidson Street Glide in average condition with 11,033 miles for $17,000 in Canada, achieving 132 percent of Clean Trade-In/Wholesale NADA value.

• 2006 Suzuki Boulevard VL800 in clean condition with 4,738 miles for $3,900 in the Gulf region, achieving 126 percent of Clean Trade-In/Wholesale NADA value.

• 2009 Harley-Davidson VRSC in average condition with 9,901 miles for $9,800 in Canada, achieving 121 percent of Clean Trade-In/Wholesale NADA value.

• 1991 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide in average condition with 9,259 for $6,000 in the Central region, achieving 120 percent of Clean Trade-In/Wholesale NADA value.

• 2004 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide in average condition with 24,020 miles for $9,500 in the Central region, achieving 119 percent of Clean Trade-In/Wholesale NADA value.

• 2003 Harley-Davidson Softail Road King in average condition with 14,625 miles for $9,600 in the Central region, achieving 118 percent of Clean Trade-In/Wholesale NADA value.

• 2010 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide in average condition with 1,929 miles for $15,000 in the Central region, achieving 117 percent of Clean Trade-In/Wholesale NADA value.

• 2010 Triumph Thunderbird in average condition with 3,588 miles for $8,500 in the Atlantic region, achieving 116 percent of Clean Trade-In/Wholesale NADA value.
