Look Marketing wins award for Sea-Doo Spark event

Melbourne, Fla.-based LOOK Marketing was awarded the Neptune Award at the Miami International Boat Show for Best Event Marketing/Sales Promotion of 2014 for its integrated production of the Sea-Doo #SPARKSOMEFUN Test Ride Tour by the Marine Marketers of America.

“LOOK really took this series of Sea-Doo events to the next level. Utilizing three teams (East, Central, West) consisting of four specialists and 33 events from March-July that were promoted via social channels, direct mail and e-blasts. Results were stellar with 3,621 consumers that were able to experience riding Sea-Doo watercraft,” said judge Cindy Pachous of the National Marine Manufacturers Association.

The #SPARKSOMEFUN Test Ride Tour was the grassroots component of the very successful launch campaign for the new Sea-Doo Spark watercraft.

“We are incredibly proud of the results of the #SPARKSOMEFUN Tour and that the project was recognized as the best event marketing effort in the ultra competitive marine industry,” said Tim McKercher, LOOK Marketing president. “This is icing on the cake for the LOOK event marketing team whose North America-wide efforts helped contribute to the Spark being sold out by mid-summer for our client BRP.”
