Broward Motorsports world champions crowned

The 2015 Broward Motorsports Pro Watercross World Champions are as follows, following the World Championship event in Naples, Fla.:

  • Pro-Am Ski GP: Chris MacClugage, Lake Havasu, Ariz.
  • Pro-Am Runabout Stock: Troy Snyder, Bradenton, Fla.
  • Sport GP: Billy Dearman, Madison, Miss.
  • Pro Freestyle: Jason Widdes, Chicago, Ill.
  • Pro-Am Ski Open: Tyron Motzouis, Empangeni, South Africa
  • Pro-Am Women’s Ski Ltd: Bibi Carmouche, Phoenix, Ariz.
  • Pro-Am Runabout SS: Stan Hightower, Lindale, Ga.
  • Pro-Am Runabout BOX Stock: Billy Dearman, Madison, Miss.
  • Junior Ski 10-12 Stock: Haden Skellett, Port Charlotte, Fla.
  • Junior Ski 13-15 Limited: Matt Richuk, High Point, N.C.

The 2016 Pro Watercross National Tour will begin in Panama City Beach, Fla., on May 7-8 and will follow the same path as last season with Pensacola Beach on the following weekend.

The Broward Motorsports World Championships event was a great success in itself, tour officials report, and CBS Sports was thrilled with the footage and action.

Pro Watercross 2016 tentative tour dates

  • May 7-8: Panama City Beach, FL
  • May 14-15: Pensacola Beach, FL
  • June 18-19: Sparks/Reno, NV
  • June 24-25: St. George, UT
  • August 13-14: Lake Hartwell, GA
  • August 20-21: Charleston, WV – National Championship
  • September 20-25: Naples, FL – World Championship
