Tucker Rocky adds Evans Cooling Systems to lineup

Suffield, Conn.-based Evans Cooling Systems, Inc. announced a new partnership with Tucker Rocky Distributing. Evans’ waterless coolant technology, formulated to eliminate boil-overs under extreme race conditions, is now available at dealerships that carry Tucker Rocky products.

“Tucker Rocky and Evans are an unbeatable team,” Evans powersports director John Light said. “Both companies share a passion for powersports that goes beyond our own growth, but also to the prosperity of the industry as a whole. Any shop can become an Evans dealer now that Tucker Rocky has stocked our Powersports Coolant nationwide.

“Tucker Rocky’s off-road segment director Steven Reed, an Evans user himself, approached us at last year’s Loretta Lynn’s Amateur MX Nationals. Having experienced the way Evans Waterless Coolant fends off boil-overs, he knew he wanted to bring it to his customers as part of their 2016 lineup. Now, Tucker Rocky’s excellent customer service and reputation in the industry are giving dealerships the same confidence that our coolant brings to our customers,” Light added.

Evans Waterless Coolants are the only truly waterless engine coolants available on the market. Developed in auto racing, Evans Waterless Coolants now enjoy broad acceptance by teams in mx, off-road, flat track, ATV, UTV and snowmobile racing.

Also, Evans Cooling Systems announced that Andy Barbieri has joined its executive team as sales director. He reports directly to Mike Tourville, marketing director.

Barbieri comes to Evans Cooling from Derive Systems (Sanford, Fla.) with more than 30 years of experience, including several high level sales management positions in the automotive aftermarket industry.

“I am looking forward to working with Jeff and the entire Evans team to promote Evans waterless coolant technology throughout the U.S. and Canada,” Barbieri said. “Evans is an exciting new challenge and opportunity for me. Evans waterless coolant is a unique product, with so many advantages to offer. We’re starting the year off in a sprint, and I’m looking forward to fast growth and strong sales!”
