Suzuki Canada to stop selling cars

Suzuki Canada Inc. announced Tuesday that it will no longer sell automobiles in the country following the 2014 model year and will instead focus on its motorcycle, ATV and marine business.

This news comes less than five months after American Suzuki Motor Corp. announced a realignment for its U.S. operations. Though Suzuki Canada is exiting the auto segment, the company is not entering into court-supervised restructuring, stated a press release on the Montreal Gazette’s website.
