Founder of Carey’s Cycle Center dies

Paul Henry Carey, founder of Carey’s Cycle Center in Riverdale, Utah, passed away on Friday, Sept. 12 at the age of 83.

Carey founded the dealership in 1957, according to his obituary. He was a charter member of the Ogden Cycle Association, Sun Downers and Klunker Club motorcycle clubs, and he earned many trophies from flat track and hill climb racing. He is survived by his wife Joyce and five daughters, including Caron Boswell, who now runs the dealership with her husband, Brad.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, and the dealership is asking people to ride their bikes to the cemetery.
