Parts Unlimited, Drag Specialties show inundated with dealers

Within the backdrop of Valley Forge National Park, Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties took up residence in King of Prussia, Pa., for its inaugural East Regional Showcase. An audience of dealers from throughout the eastern part of the country gathered to learn about exhibitors and their products, making the first-time event at Valley Forge Casino Resort a huge success, Parts officials said.

The weekend kicked off with a show preview, followed by a reception that was so well attended, the hotel opened two additional ballrooms to host the guests. The gathering provided a great opportunity for vendors, dealers and sales staff to mingle in a more casual environment in anticipation of the Sunday Showcase.

“We knew that this show would draw a big crowd, but the amount of attendees absolutely exceeded our expectations,” said Lou Lopez, Parts Unlimited national sales manager. “We could tell both exhibitors and dealers left with an increased enthusiasm for the industry as we head into spring.”

Thanks to more than 200 exhibitors, the expansive show floor and layout, Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties showcased the depth of their products. Exhibitors met with hundreds of dealers and supplied them with the tools and knowledge to maximize their sales.

“Starting with the show preview, we felt the excitement from everyone that attended,” said Jim Matchette, Drag Specialties national sales manager. “In talking with dealers from the area that had attended similar events at this venue, the Showcase had the best outcome they had ever seen! It’s encouraging to know our dealers, exhibitors, and sales representatives came together and helped make this Showcase the buzz of the motorcycle industry.”

Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties will host their annual National Vendor Presentation (NVP) Aug. 24-25 in Madison, Wis.
