Call for presentations for consumer education program

Leading motorcycle industry trade publication Powersports Business, in conjunction with its consumer publications Rider magazine and Thunder Press, is accepting proposals for consumer education presentations from potential industry speakers at the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo), which will be held Oct. 16-20, 2013, in Orlando, Fla.

“Like our sister trade publication Powersports Business, Rider magazine and Thunder Press have a long history of educating readers on motorcycles and the motorcycling experience,” said Jeff Patterson, publisher of Rider and Thunder Press. “We’re excited about the opportunity to help coordinate valuable educational opportunities for AIMExpo’s consumer attendees.  I believe it is important that we, along with the industry, continually educate enthusiasts on a range of motorcycle-specific topics,” Patterson said.

In order to provide a robust consumer education lineup that will offer AIMExpo attendees the most value for their attendance, all qualified speakers are invited to submit a proposal to participate in the consumer education lineup.

Presentations should focus on topics that will enhance the riding, lifestyle and ownership experience of AIMExpo attendees. Because of the presentations, riders will leave AIMExpo with a more well-rounded approach to important motorcycling topics.

“Educating consumers on the latest and greatest topics that facilitate their passion for motorcycling will be a valuable opportunity for many presenters,” Patterson said. “We look forward to connecting the industry and consumers at AIMExpo.”

The deadline to submit a proposal is Wednesday, July 3.
