BRP: Evinrude dealer event to feature ‘new era of outboards’

BRP will take over the Milwaukee shoreline from June 13 to June 16 and change the way you look at the outboard engine industry.
BRP will kick-off its Evinrude dealer meeting, called “Club”, on Friday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. The event, designed to bring Evinrude dealers from around the world together to experience new product reveals, business seminars, a tour of the Sturtevant, Wis., campus and boat builder partner showcases, will include a first-hand look at BRP’s latest innovations for the marine industry.
“BRP is known for its innovation. Our design and engineering teams have consistently designed and built the most cutting-edge technologies in the business. Dealers attending this Club event will see and experience first-hand how we intend to create a new era of outboards,” said Alain Villemure, vice-president and general manager of BRP’s Marine Propulsion Systems division.
“We already know our dealers are our best brand ambassadors,” added Villemure. “With this event, we get to show them our appreciation by offering a completely new range of products and an unforgettable entertainment experience right here in our backyard, the birthplace of the outboard engine.”
BRP is inviting the public to participate in Club Evinrude 2014. On Saturday, June 14, BRP will host a free public block party on Old World Third Street in Milwaukee. Beginning at noon, site will open for lunch. Music and entertainment begins at 3 p.m. and lasts through 11 p.m. that night. On Sunday, June 15, the public is welcome at the Wisconsin Center. Pro bass anglers, fishing and boating experts and a wide range of product demonstrations and booths will be on view from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
BRP invested $15 million in its Evinrude campus in 2011 to regroup all its R & D, procurement, marketing and after-sales activities.
