Indian ‘Scout’s 1st Run Tour’ hits dealerships nationwide

Indian Motorcycle, America’s first motorcycle company, [on Tuesday] announced the “Scout’s 1st Run Tour,” a whirlwind, coast-to-coast tour of Indian Motorcycle dealerships across America to showcase the new 2015 Indian Scout. The 100-city tour [started Tuesday] with stops at dealers in Pennsylvania, Indiana and Washington and continues through mid-October. On August 2 at the 74th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Indian Motorcycle unveiled the 2015 Indian Scout to the cheers of VIPs, celebrities and media from across the country and around the world. The stunning new bike is the first new Indian Scout manufactured in nearly 70 years, and exemplifies one of the most famous, decorated and storied motorcycles in history, with a global reputation for breakthrough innovations, precise balance, nimble handling and potent power. The “Scout’s 1st Run Tour” is designed to let Indian Motorcycle fans across the country get up-close and personal with the new 2015 Indian Scout, America’s hottest new motorcycle with a DNA and heritage that is second to none, and a starting MSRP of $10,999.

The tour will also promote the availability of the “Scout’s 1st Run” program, a limited-time opportunity for riders to be among the first in the world to reserve their very own 2015 Scout for delivery in late 2014. Participants in “Scout’s 1st Run” receive an industry-leading five years of warranty coverage, and a special commemorative “First to Own” kit to honor the historical significance of owning the first of the all-new Scouts.
