The American Motorcyclist Association welcomes American Honda Motor Co., Inc. as the title sponsor of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony being held Friday, Oct. 17, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Tickets for the American Honda AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony range from $25 to $150 and are available at motorcyclemuseum.org.

“The history of American motorcycling is interwoven with the achievements of Honda racers, engineers and executives, starting with the great Soichiro Honda, founder of Honda Motor Company, Inc. and a member of the Hall of Fame class of 2000,” said Ken Ford, a member of the Hall of Fame executive committee and treasurer of the AMA board of directors. “American Honda’s support of the 2014 induction ceremony is a testament to the company’s respect for motorcycling’s heritage. Their commitment will help shine a brighter spotlight on the amazing people of the Hall of Fame Class of 2014.”

Honda’s Mike Snyder, senior manager, Powersports Marketing said that the company was proud to be a part of the gala event.

“Motorcycling’s heroes and legends have earned their place in history, and that status is secured by induction into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame,” Snyder said. “The Hall of Fame Class of 2014 features an amazing group of racers, tuners and industry leaders, and it’s American Honda’s pleasure to honor their induction this Oct. 17.”

The event also will honor the career of existing Hall of Famer Willie G. Davidson, a member of the Hall of Fame Class of 1999. Davidson will be recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend at this year’s event.
