Harley-Davidson descendants make trek to Sturgis

Two of descendants of one of the original Harley-Davidson founders have planned to attend the annual Sturgis Rally, according to an article from Keloland.com, a public news station from Sioux Falls, S.D.

Bill and Karen Davidson wanted to be a part of this year’s Sturgis Rally to announce that Harley-Davidson will be the official Sturgis motorcycle for the next 75 years. The two are joined by other company officials and say they look forward to meeting and greeting customers.

“I think people appreciate meeting descendants of the original founders. The face that we engage in the same sport they engage in, it’s the commonality, which is very powerful,” said Bill Davidson.
