Power 50 dealer announces new hires

Three-time Power 50 dealer Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson of Eden Prairie, Minn., announced six new team members in an email to its customers.

The new members include:

Rory Bernstein, Sales Manager

Rory joined the Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson dealership in 2016, coming from an extensive and impressive 28 year background in the automobile industry. Rory has always made it a dream of his to work for a Harley-Davidson dealership, having started riding at the age of 13 years old. A northeast native from Brooklyn, NY, Rory brings with him years of customer service and hard work. When not at the dealership, Rory spends his time out on his 2013 Wide Glide and other custom bikes he owns.

Michael Kamrad, Sales

Michael has been a motorcycle owner since the age of 17 with his 1971 Yamaha DT250. From there, in 1988, he owned his first street bike in college, a 1980 Honda CM400E. After college Michael helped open Easy Rider in 1997, furthered his career with Hitchin’ Post, St. Paul Harley-Davidson and now starts his journey with Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson in 2016. Michael has been selling bikes since 2002, and currently owns a 2006 Springer as well as 3 other bikes. A native from Apple Valley, Minn., Michael first kickstarted Minnesota Motorcycle Monthly and rides with the Ol’Timer’s Riding Club since 2012.

Chad Gutknecht, Parts Counter Associate

A native of Norwood Young America, Minn., Chad comes from an extensive and knowledgeable 15 year background in Harley-Davidson motorcycles, bringing passion and a wealth of experience that makes motorcycles his biggest hobby. He has been a past owner of many motorcycles, but is looking at becoming a new Harley-Davidson Street Glide owner.

Phillip Pexa, Service Technician

A recent graduate of the MMI program in May of 2015, Phillip started his career with Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson in 2016. Phillip has always had a passion for motorcycles, and thought it would be a great career path to pursue. Phillip is a Military Veteran, serving for his country for 5 years, holding the position of Sargent in the Airborne Infantry. A native of New Prague, Minn., Phillip is currently restoring his 1991 FXR.

Trenity Filand, Service Master Technician

Trenity first bought his Harley-Davidson back in 2000, working on it himself, decided to pursue a career in building and fixing motorcycles. Trenity is a 2003 graduate of the MMI program. Since wrenching in 2003, Trenity brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Being a native from St. Peter, Minn., when Trenity is not working he enjoys riding his 2001 Wide Glide CVO.

Chris Wiener, Service Master Technician

Chris’s passion for motorcycles began as a young kid, working on bikes and engines. He developed an enjoyment and passion for working on and fine tuning machines, and decided to pursue that same enjoyment as a career. Chris brings with him over 14 years of work on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. A native from Blaine, Minn., Chris enjoys his time out on the road with his 2001 Sportster.
