Triumph Record – 1,067 Units Sold in April

Triumph Motorcycles (America) Ltd., Newnan, Ga., says it set a new single month sales record when it sold 1,067 units in the United States in April. Triumph sales for the month were up 32% compared to sales during April 2004, and up 51 units from the previous monthly sales record of 1,016 units set in July 2004.
Triumph says growth was driven by strong sales of the Rocket III cruiser and the new 1,050cc Sprint ST. The Speed Triple and Bonneville T100 also posted gains.
Todd Andersen, Marketing Vice President, Triumph Motorcycles (America) Ltd., says the Rocket III’s attraction has benefited the company’s entire line. “Consumer interest in Triumph’s products has never been stronger,” he said.
