Polaris Plans Victory in Europe

Officials at Polaris Industries, Inc., the Minnesota-based manufacturer of Victory Motorcycles, told Powersports Business they plan to bring the company’s two-wheeled product to market in Europe.
The announcement comes six months after the start of a procurement and distribution partnership with Austria-based KTM, and just a week after several members of the Polaris management team were appointed to new positions.
In that change of management, Mark Blackwell was named Vice President, Victory Motorcycles & International Operations; Allan Hurd was promoted to General Manager, Victory Motorcycles; Marc Tullemans was promoted to the role of International Operations Manager; and Paul Tomsche was promoted to International Business Development and Distributor Sales Manager.
Formerly in charge of Polaris’ international business, Bennett Morgan has become Polaris President and Chief Operating Officer. Speaking of Blackwell, Morgan said: “His experience will be a huge asset in our developing partnership with KTM, and Victory will be a key component of our growth outside the U.S in the future.”
