Suzuki Reports Sales Growth, Shows New Product

LAS VEGAS – American Suzuki Motor Corp. officials unveiled three new models, plans for at least four others and a list of impressive sales growth at the company’s recent dealer meeting here.
ASMC’s Mel Harris told dealers Suzuki again had record unit sales numbers, with the company recording 8 percent growth compared to the industry’s 3 percent average in 2005. Company officials expect similar sales growth numbers this year. Suzuki aims to sell 220,000 units this year, which would be more than a 300 percent increase from 10 years ago.
New products shown to dealers were the 2007 KingQuad 450, the 2007 GSX-R 1000 and the 2007 Bandit 1250.
