Piaggio announces new Fly 150 3V and Fly 50 4V

Piaggio has launched all-new Fly 150 3V and Fly 50 4V scooters for the U.S. market.

The new Fly 150 3-valve engine produces more power, is more fuel-efficient and has lower maintenance costs. The scooter has a fuel economy of 104 mpg and retails for $2,899.

“The 3-valve engine is among the most powerful and the most fuel-efficient 150cc engines on the market, yet its simplicity provides reliability and longevity once unimaginable. With service intervals at 6,000 miles, the cost of ownership can be greatly reduced for the Piaggio Fly 150 3V owners,” the company reported in a news release.

A 49cc 4-stroke, 4-valve engine, with a fuel economy of 117 mpg, powers the new Fly 50. The MSRP of the Fly 50 is $2,199.

Both scooters have a large, ergonomic 29.9-inch seat that allows for two-up riding. They’re available in Graphic Black and Pearl White and are currently in U.S. Piaggio/Vespa dealerships.
