KYMCO USA and Kwang Yang Motor Co. have expanded their joint venture agreement, which will give KYMCO USA increased levels of factory support.

In addition to the contract, key personnel from Taiwan will join the KYMCO USA team in South Carolina, according to an article on ATV.INFO. The added KYMCO USA personnel aim to center on new product development with the main focus being on the needs of the American customer.

Kwang Yang Motor Co. has taken a 50 percent stake in KYMCO USA, which is expected to provide increased involvement in marketing and support programs for their growing dealer network.

KYMCO president Eric Bondy said the agreement reflects their long-term commitment to the United States.
