Polaris Industries reported record third-quarter sales, with increases coming in its ATV, snowmobile and PG&A segments.
Polaris’ quarterly sales totaled $580.3 million, a rise of 7 percent over the year-ago period. Its net income, however, dropped slightly, down 3.5 percent to $37.7 million.
The company said its side-by-side sales remained strong as its ATV segment revenue increased 5 percent over the year-ago period.
Polaris also commented on consumer financing. The company said the approval rate for Polaris consumers vying for HSBC or GE loans increased during the third quarter compared to the year-ago period.
