Polaris launches webcast training sessions to dealer network

Polaris Industries launched its first of many webcast training sessions for its dealers. The company plans to release additional webcasts that will be focused on its latest ATV products, the Sportsman 850 and 550 XP, according to a Polaris press release.

The webcasting technology allowed the company to reduce the number of infield service training from 36 to six. The training sessions are taught through video, presentations and interactive question and answer sessions.

Polaris’ Chief Information Officer/Vice President of Dealer Services Bill Fisher said, “Polaris is committed to operational excellence by providing new and easier ways to communicate efficiently with our dealer network. This effort is defining the standard for what training can be and is a great benefit to the dealerships. There has never been a more important to save time and money, and this delivery method saves Polaris and dealers significant time and money.”
