At the revived company’s first official dealer meeting, Indian Motorcycle revealed two additional models, the Dark Horse and the Bomber, the company reported this week. Representatives from all 15 Indian dealerships worldwide were on hand for the meeting June 22-24.

The limited edition Bomber, which will only be available for one year, is a Chief model inspired by WWII aircraft. It is available in Military Green and Silver Smoke finishes, and it features pin-up girl artwork on the tank reminiscent of old bomber nose art. The leather used on the seat and saddlebags is meant to evoke the feel and color of an old bomber jacket. The price of the Bomber is $30,999.

The Chief Dark Horse is a, “dark, sinister, mechanical looking motorcycle,” according to Indian, which features a smoke matte finish and is available in Thunder Black, Indian Red and Deep Water Blue. Dark components on the bike, including the blacked out headlight, tappet blocks, suspension, engine components, exhaust system, and hand controls, are designed to make the remaining chrome components stand out. The Dark Horse is priced at $27,999.

Both Chiefs feature a 105-cubic-inch PowerPlus V-Twin powertrain with electronic closed loop sequential port fuel injection. Engine cylinders are Nikasil plated, and the stainless steel exhaust system is an integrated 3-way catalytic converter with heated oxygen sensors.

“We’re very excited about the new Indian models which bring a more distinct range to the Chief line,” Chris Bernauer, Indian’s general manager, said in a statement.

The Chief Dark Horse and Chief Bomber will be on display at the 2009 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Aug. 3-9 in Sturgis, S.D.
