Yamaha WaterCraft Group announced its popular mobile application is now available for devices running the Android operating system, including Android tablets and smartphones. The app, which is available for free in the Android Market, gives consumers the inside track to virtually everything there is to know about Yamaha’s WaveRunners and boats through a rich media and interactive experience that is optimized for their device.

Introduced earlier this year for the iPhone and iPad, the Yamaha WaterCraft App attracted enormous consumer and dealer interest, proving a desire among these audiences for more robust content on their mobile devices.

Users of the Yamaha WaterCraft App for Android will be able to view images of all products in all color combinations, browse product features, compare Yamaha models to other brands, learn more about new innovations and technologies, view a library of high-quality videos, sign up for mobile alerts, stay connected with Yamaha on Facebook and Twitter, share favorites with friends and family through social media applications and view all the latest sales promotional offers.

“The response to our app has been overwhelmingly positive from both consumers, who love to browse the products and watch the rich media, to dealers who have every single piece of product info on every model right at their fingertips on the showroom floor,” said Bryan Seti, national marketing manager for Yamaha’s WaterCraft Group. “The Android platform stretches across a range of manufacturers and devices, creating a need for us to reach this growing user base and we look forward to making this experience available to them today.”

To download the free app, visit the Android Market and search for Yamaha WaterCraft.
