VP introduces unleaded T4 fuel for powersports

VP Racing Fuels on Friday at Dealer Expo unveiled its new unleaded T4 fuel for powersports. Unleaded and ethanol-free, T4 is a direct pour-in replacement for premium pump gas.

“So many of our customers have complained about ethanol in pump gas clogging injectors, fouling carburetors and going bad after just a few weeks in storage. I decided to develop a fuel to solve those problems,” said Steve Burns, VP founder and director of R&D. “T4 was the result of this effort and not only does it solve the ethanol-related problems, it makes up to 3 percent more power and improves throttle response, making it the best, most cost-effective fuel you can put in a 4-stroke. It’s the only fuel I’ll use in my own bikes.”

T4 is legal only for use in a competition vehicle not used on public highways and may not be used for recreational off-roading or other non-competition uses. T4 is designed for stock or slightly modified 4-stroke bikes, ATVs, UTVs and other off-road vehicles used in competition.

Well,,, what is the projected retail price range of this product???

While i fully applaud your efforts to help solve ethanol-related problems,,,,how does it TRULY solve much if it is only for vehicles used in competition?????

unless it is going to be priced $ 4 — $ 5 dollar range it just does not seem like a good buy for the COMPETITION rider… make it STREET legal and it MIGHT be a different story…

on a side note this fuel has been hinted around since July-ish of last year,,, whoo hoo big news!!!
