East Coast Snocross, FXR form marketing partnership

Officials at Clarksburg, Mass.-based East Coast Snocross (ECS) announced a new three-year marketing partnership with high performance snowmobile outerwear manufacturer FXR Factory Racing, Inc.

FXR is the official outerwear supplier for International Series of Champions’ (ISOC) AMSOIL Championship Snocross series. FXR also supports several race teams across the snowmobile and motocross industries.

“We are thrilled to have FXR join our family of marketing partners here at ECS,” series general manager Shawn Achilles said. “We’ve worked alongside the ISOC crew the last few seasons and have heard some great reviews of their products. I’m confident that our track officials will look professional this winter and stay warm and dry, as well. We look forward to promoting FXR apparel
here in the east in the next few seasons with great pride.”

“FXR is excited to have a presence with the east’s premier snocross sanctioning body,” said Doug Rust, marketing/special projects manager for FXR. “We know East Coast Snocross has some great athletes and loyal fans. We want those folks to know that FXR has the best winter outerwear for their needs. I look forward to following this series and gaining some new customers in the northeast.

FXR offers hundreds of different styles and colors of jackets and pants for men, women and children. Along with jackets and pants, FXR also offers gloves, boots and casual lines.

FXR was founded by Milt Reimer, a former motocross racer who ran a powersports dealership in Morris, Manitoba. Reimer saw a need for high performance snowmobile outerwear and began working on a few designs to be assembled by a local manufacturer. Reimer’s humble start began in the basement of his home.

Thanks to Reimer’s experience at the racetrack, FXR has always paid close attention to sizing, fitting and venting in its snowmobile clothing in order to provide the best possible product.

East Coast Snocross, presented by AMSOIL and Woody’s Traction, is the eastern regional affiliate of ISOC. ECS strives to maintain a healthy level of competition in grassroots snocross, while also cultivating new talent for tomorrow’s factory-backed national teams.

With Levi LaVallee spearheading the company’s ISCO AMSOIL Championship Snocross series, FXR will get to promote its snowmobile outerwear on the East Coast Snocross circuit.
