Champion Trikes closes Lehman plant

Champion Investments Inc. and Champion Trikes are closing the Lehman Trikes plant in Spearfish, S.D., reported the Meade County Times-Tribune. The closure will result in a dozen layoffs.

Champion is moving Lehman operations to its plant in Garden Grove, Calif. The move is designed to help Champion expand into Asian markets. Spearfish has been home to the Lehman plant since 2004.
